West Hawaii Association of REALTORS® (WHAR)
is a voluntary professional association of real estate licensees primarily spanning the West Hawaii area of the Big Island of Hawaii from Hawi at the northern end of the island to Naalehu at the southern end. The West Hawaii Association of REALTORS® was organized in 1969 and is a non-profit corporation.
All members of the West Hawaii Association of REALTORS® (WHAR) also belong to the Hawaii Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark which may be used only by real estate professionals who are members of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribe to its strict Code of Ethics.
Questions? - The West Hawaii Association of REALTORS® receives numerous calls on a daily basis from its members and from the public. WHAR is more than happy to answer any questions regarding membership issues and association matters. However, many of the calls to WHAR staff are related to issues the staff is not qualified to properly address, including Standard Forms, Licensing Issues, Zoning Issues, and Legal Matters.
